Buffalo Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  •   oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 1 dash garlic powder

Preparation

Mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt.

Place chicken wings in a glass bowl and sprinkle flour mixture over and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour - 1 hour and a half.

Heat 1" - 1.5" oil in a deep fryer to 375F (it should be able to cover the wings completely. Fry the wings for 10-15 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove from heat and place in serving bowl.

Meanwhile, combine the butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic in a small saucepan over low heat. Heat until butter is melted and stir to combine well. Remove from heat.

Add the sauce to the serving bowl and mix. Serve with blue cheese dressing and celery.
